Job Responsibilities

  • Perform installations, start-ups, commissioning and testing of complex electro-mechanical equipment on-site and provide technical assistance to the customer
  • Repair and perform maintenance on Siconnex equipment
  • Liaise with customers
  • Train new employees and customers
  • Must be able to work in various locations and travel in excess of 80% or as required

Skills/Qualifications

  • Associates degree in electrical/electronic engineering required or equivalent
  • Preferably with at least 2 years working experience as a service engineer in a similar manufacturing or machine tool company
  • Experience in wafer fabrication / WET chemical processes is an advantage
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated, self-confident, diplomatic skills and a team player
  • Ability to effectively interface with customers
    Willing to travel extensively throughout U.S.
  • Must be able to successfully meet customer site access requirements such as: background checks safety training and cleanroom access

Working Conditions

  • Should expect to spend more than 50% of the time inside the clean room working with mechanical and electrical equipment and the job may require standing for long periods of time
  • Work will include on-site heavy lifting of modules and equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required
